Seat Occupancy Radar Sensor / Door Obstacle Detection Radar

Saykal Ultra-Short Range Radar Sensor is suitable for automotive applications, especially for Occupancy Detection on the seats. The Seat Occupancy radar sensor operates in the millimeter wave frequency band, effectively detecting living objects on the seat. Unlike capacitive weight-measuring occupancy pads, it distinguishes between living and inanimate objects, reducing false alarms from non-human objects placed on the seat.

Saykal Radar Sensor; It is an innovative, robust, and reliable electronic sensing unit developed for the automotive industry and containing new-generation technologies. It is customized for out-of-cabin applications. AP003 is a high-performance short-range radar sensor operating in the 76-81 GHz band for various premium backward & forward-looking applications. In particular, the use of heavy vehicles in traffic and other areas open to pedestrians poses a risk to vulnerable road users such as pedestrians and cyclists. It creates a warning according to the distance for the pedestrians or obstacles in front of the vehicle and in the area where there is a risk of collision. It allows you to manage risk or create aids such as braking by varying the amount of warning with adjustable distances

Blind Spot Information System (BSIS)

Saykal BSIS is a reliable blind spot detection system utilizing short/medium range radar sensors for enhanced driving safety. Operating in the 76–81 GHz band, it detects pedestrians, bicycles, and vehicles in side blind zones and warns the driver accordingly. It complies with ECE R151 under the General Safety Regulation (GSR). Ideal for ADAS integration in heavy commercial vehicles, the BSIS ensures safe lane changes and turning maneuvers in urban settings.
