Event Data Recorder
(EDR)

Saykal EDR is designed for M2, M3, N2 and N3 vehicles to reliably record the moments just before and after critical events, making safety analysis fast and effective. The recorded data can be reviewed via a data retrieval tool. The system records 20 seconds before and 10 seconds after the event, so driver and vehicle responses can be reviewed later and turned into preventive improvements. The EDR starts recording automatically when any defined trigger happens: sudden Acceleration, Last Stop, or Safety System activation (ABS, AEB, ESC and, if installed, the Airbag).
